Precision Cleaning Services

Sub-floor Cleaning

The sub-floor is one of the more sensitive and critical areas of any raised floor data center. Annual scheduled cleanings are recommended to keep contaminates (debris and dust particles) from recycling through the plenum to hardware intakes.

Raised Floor Surface Cleaning

A clean floor doesn't just look good, it maximizes your up-time by ensuring that static will dissipate properly throughout the data center environment. Dirt attracted to the floor acts as an insulator, preventing proper static discharge.  Regular cleaning will eliminate and inhibit buildup from foot traffic, installations and de-installations.

Ceiling Plenum Cleaning

Ceiling panels are hotspots for damaging dust and debris. Minimize airborne contaminants and their impact on your most sensitive equipment with regular cleaning and decontamination services in the inner ceiling plenum.

Exterior and Interior Server Cabinet Cleaning

Extremely susceptible to the accumulation of microscopic particles, gasses, ferrous metals and static-charged dust, a thorough and regular cleaning is necessary for sensitive electronic equipment to remain protected.

Specialized Cleaning Services

Zinc Whisker Remediation

Shedding from the back and the under structure of subfloor panels, whiskers of zinc are known to become airborne and can wreak havoc on equipment circuits. Sealing or removing zinc is necessary to prevent electrical shorts and involves a strategic process.

Post-Construction Cleaning

A professional cleaning is necessary to make certain your new or renovated data center is free from potential contaminants. Detailed, multi-layer decontamination cleaning, before commencing crucial operations, makes for an optimal hardware environment.

Concrete Sealing

Close the door on corrosive concrete dust by having all subfloor concrete areas safely sealed. This involves a thorough process that includes precision cleaning of all concrete followed by sealing with a non-toxic sealer. The process requires no downtime.

The Value of Working With MCS

Adherence to Industry Standards

  • ISO 14644 (Formerly Federal Regulation 209B)

  • American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE)

  • Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST)

Testing and Contamination Control Monitoring

MCS's services include assessing critical environments with international cleanroom standards for safety and operation.

Precision Equipment

All vacuums used are of ULPA filtration (Ultra Low Penetration Air) 99.999% efficiency on 0.12 microns, compatible with Class 10 cleanroom conditions. Static free (EDS Safe), EMI and RFI shielded with suppression of electro-magnetic interference below the Class B limits for computers and computing devices.

Continuous Maintenance Programs and Custom Maintenance Plans

We offer cost-effective, customized solutions based on your unique facility, equipment and goals. Our goal is to prevent downtime and maximize efficiency when planning frequency, services and product choices.

Consulting and Assessment Services

Tap into our expertise! Permit MCS to audit your facility and equipment and recommend best practices for achieving best results. With inspection, scientific testing, and a solution-focused approach, we will provide you with the knowledge needed to move forward in optimizing your data center.'

Findings and Recommendations Report

The Findings and Recommendations Report is confidential and created only after obtaining customer permission. Upon completing the cleaning of each site, MCS produces a report based on the results of our cleaning and industry standards. Because of our over 30 years of cleaning critically-controlled environments, we have serviced literally the very best of the best and, frankly, the worst. We like to share our knowledge base. Data center managers have found our reports to be a helpful knowledge tool to know and implement ideas, practical uses, equipment and methodology shared.

Getting Started

To properly assess the needs of your data center or cleanroom, we must first begin with a thorough inspection of the data center or cleanroom. This walk-through inspection is used to identify possible areas of concern and any potential contributors to problems. This helps to narrow or focus on what matters to your specific environment.
